# Address variations (jig generator)

> The BuyingGroupPro jig generator makes small variations of a shipping address, and tracks which variations work at which store.

The jig generator makes variations of a shipping address, such as "STE 100" for "SUITE 100", so that a store sees orders to the same place as going to different addresses. Resellers use it when a store limits how many units one address can buy. It is on the [Address Variations page](https://www.buyinggrouppro.com/address-variations/), on Pro and Concierge.

## Make a variation

1. Paste one address.
2. Click **Generate jig**. You get one variation.
3. Click **Re-jig** for another one.

Each variation makes small changes to the address, such as STE for SUITE. Check that the carrier can still deliver to the address before you use it.

## Save the ones that work

Save a variation with its store, its buying group and a note. For each saved address, BuyingGroupPro keeps how many times you used it and how often it worked, and you can mark an address the store has blocked. Choosing a buying group also adds an auto-link rule, so orders shipped to that address are linked to the group. See [auto-link orders](https://www.buyinggrouppro.com/docs/auto-link-orders/).
